IDJuJu
Pride Group, LLC
For Pride Group door staff and event managers · App version 1.2 · iPhone, iOS 15 or later
Need a person? Email IDJUJU@PrideGroup.us.
Tell us the event, the date, and which phone — the device name is printed at the bottom of the admin screen. Mail is answered during business hours.
ID JUJU reads the barcode on the back of a driver's licence or state ID, works out the guest's age, and shows one answer: PASS in green, UNDERAGE in red, or CAN'T READ CARD in amber. On a pass, the host compares the photo on the card to the person in front of them and taps to confirm. It is a private Pride Group app and is not available on the public App Store.
Worn, scratched, and bent cards are common. Tap Can't scan? then Enter manually and type the licence number and date of birth from the front of the card. The record is kept and marked as manual entry, so it is visible in the export as such.
Tap the screen once — the camera pauses between guests to save battery. If it stays black, open the iPhone's Settings app, find ID JUJU, and switch Camera on.
The admin screen is locked. Door staff use the shared supervisor password, which your manager has. The administrator password is held by the manager alone and is not shared at the door.
Fill in the event name and the P number first, and check that the phone actually has records to send. All three buttons stay disabled until there is something to export.
That button only works once an administrator has entered the upload address and the device key in Settings. Email and Download work regardless. If the address and key are in place and it still fails, email us with the event and the time you tried.
Check the Pride Group mailbox or the ID JUJU folder on the Microsoft 365 site for a file named for your event. Do not clear the records on the phone until you can see the file. Clearing is an administrator action and cannot be undone.
